Valuation & Financial Modelling Specialist
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years’ experience and owns a strong business acumen.
Working on a daily basis with the business team, the candidate will have direct exposure to all the main company divisions and provide financial and business support to the company in terms of investment initiatives valuation & financial modelling for business decision making.
Key accountabilities
- Support the business functions during definition, processing and updating of the economic evaluation models of business development initiatives and business plans, including reality check and validation of business & strategic assumptions;
- participation in ad hoc projects / analyzes relating to Business Unit initiatives;
- build Financial models from scratch (quantitative analysis of the impact on economics of specific business phenomena, 3 statement models, IRR analysis);
- support in the elaboration of the documentation necessary for an effective communication towards the Top Management;
- analysis of economic, financial and operational performance indicators, highlighting the causes of any variances.
Requirements
- Financial modelling skills: autonomous construction of medium/high complexity models;
- master's degree in Engineering or Economics;
- fluent in English;
- excellent knowledge of the Office Package (Excel and PowerPoint essential);
- proven experience in the following fields is considered a plus: Business Development, Due Diligences, Modelling, Corporate Finance;
- excellent interpersonal/communication skills and ability to interface with different stakeholders;
- teamwork – the candidate will work in a cross-functional team, interacting with all main company divisions;
- planning and organization skills, curiosity and strong problem solving.
