Sales Specialist French Speaking Europe (London)
SUMMARY:
This role will cover France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Geneva and French language is going to be a requirement in order to achieve success. The candidate for the role will preferably have experience in Fixed Income & OTC derivatives & selling market data or related products into the financial community at a new business sales level. The individual will be a proven self-starter, able to manage new opportunities and relationships as well absorb information to assist them in a fast-changing environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Responsible to sell Tradition market data products to potential new (75%) and existing customers (25%) within the territory highlighted above.
- Meet monthly and annual sales targets as set by regional sales management
- Define & manage a clear and concise territory plan for your region
- Sell new products as they become available and training is complete.
- Execute sales campaigns within their territory as directed by management or self-designed
- Manage all stages of the new business sales process within Salesforce.com
- Work with account management for smooth account handover after initial sales.
- Contribute to the collective knowledge of the sales team globally
EDUCATION BACKGROUND:
The successful candidate will preferably be a graduate of a university.
EXPERIENCE:
- The successful candidate will hopefully have at least 3 – 5 years’ experience selling market data services to the financial community or a strong sales history within finance sector and a willingness to learn about market data. Ideally the candidate would have some detailed experience in a specific asset class (market), having worked in trading, sales, a risk role at an international bank or experience at a data vendor selling middle and back-office products.
- Attitude and commitment with a desire to succeed are pre-requisites along with a demonstrable knowledge of the sales process across prospecting, negotiating and closing.
- French language skills will be essential to be successful in this role in order to be successful as our clients have communicated this as a very helpful attribute to assisting in the set territory.
