The role of sales director
Have a profound understanding of local grid market
Proactively explore business opportunities
Execute our client’s strategy and achieve sales target including Composite Insulation Cross Arm (CICA) and our clients product range of Transmission and Distribution network (including substation)
Within your network you count Product Managers / Technical Managers / Finance Managers / Regional CEOs from;
Power grid companies (TSO, DNO),
EPC Transmission & Distribution company
Power Generation/ Renewable energy company
Government (Regulator and Energy Ministry)
Responsibilities and deliverables
Develop company strategy and business plans
Execute value, mission, vision and strategy of the organization.
Lead the formulation and disintegration of annual sales targets and overall work plan.
Owner for the whole end to end sales process in the local market including, explore leads, manage opportunity, bidding, contract negotiation, governance of project delivery quality and secure cash collection.
Market Research and brand building In line with the business strategy, lead the team to carry out market research, analysis, marketing activities.
Clarify the decision-making chain of the relevant government, industry organizations and target customers and the corresponding personnel.
Lead the team in customers' development and value transfer, particularly to be responsible for building and maintain a good relationship with key TSO/DNO decision makers.
Budget management according to regional business plan set up budgets and manage sales on a monthly basis according to the target.
Organize / Coordinate internal resources based on business requirement.
Develop team members
Bachelor’s degree or above
Candidates with more than 10 years of sales experience in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) market (including substation)
Currently work as Sales Director / Head of Sales in the country
Have strong relationship with key decision makers in the power and T&D market
Strong understanding of the local grid market (market size, competition, market trends, etc )
Knowledge of local customers, procurement processes, decision making processes, key decision makers, etc.
Knowledge of project management, marketing methodology, finance and human resource
Effective communication in English and local language
